I’m Gonna Get Paid to use MySpace!

Yep, that’s right!

You’re all so jelous now aren’t ya?

It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while - how to use the things I’m learning about and using on a regular basis, and all the information I’m collecting from people like Yaro Starak and Andrew Dubber, and then an opportunity sort of presented itself.

Keith Angel, Doncaster’s uber-producer and member of The Angel Brothers and Hotel Brown (among others), has been working for a while on a new record label project. He called me the other day and requested a meeting. That happened today.

Without boring you, he wants me to be the “Online Music Facilitator” - the “online dude” if you like. It’s all contract based, with Musoswire being the online store “backend”, and me charged with “building and maintaining the website, and using the web to full effect as part of a greater promotion strategy”.

We have to work out all the contractual details, but it’s looking good! Fingers crossed everyone :)
