Happy New Year!
Well Happy New Year everyone!
2008 is finally upon us, and the holiday season is drawing to a close. No doubt many of us have drunk and eaten waaay too much (I know I have!), but hey… that’s what celebrations are for!
At this time of year, most people make a list of New Year’s Resolutions. Well, I’ve decided…. not to. Instead, I’m creating a list of goals for 2008. I don’t know why, but it feels like goals are attainable, whereas we just know our resolutions will go out the window at the first available opportunity.
So…
- Launch the new Musoswire.com - this will DEFINITELY happen, hopefully by the end of January all being well.
- Do my first trade show. And by do, I mean exhibit. I’m hoping to do Music Live, I’ll keep everyone posted on that over at the Musoswire Blog.
- Install, learn and switch to Visual Studio 2008. Installing is easy, working out the new features might take a bit longer. I’d also like to learn Silverlight.
- Launch some other projects I’m working on.
- Learn to drive (maybe).
- Explore more Web 2.0 technologies and services.
- Find someone to share my life with. This might sound a bit sad, but I’m quite lonely. There’s so much going on at the moment, I’d love to have someone to share and celebrate it with.
I’m certain there are other goals I should set, but the ones above are the main ones I can think of right now. Hopefully some of them will have been achieved by this time next year!
