OMG - It’s nearly Easter!

Someone pointed out to me that it’s nearly easter, and my website still says “Happy New Year!” - oops.

I suppose an apoology is in order then. It’s just… well, I’ve been busy. What with the job (pay rise there - yay), and working on new websites and various other projects, time just seems to have disappeared. I have been blogging over at AdventuresInVista and it’s new sister blog AdventuresInMacOS, but admittedly goDHN has been somewhat neglected.

Nevermind… I’m back, complete with a new theme and lots to say.

So what’s new? Well, as mentioned above I’ve launched a new Adventures website, for Mac OS X users. It’s called AdventuresInMacOS (suprise!), and aims to cover similar ground to AiV - hints, tips and tricks for using your computer.

This new site coincides with the purchase of a brand new Intel Mac Mini, with 2gig of ram, 24″ monitor and OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Well, if I’m gonna start a new adventure, I may as well do it in style…

(for those interested, you can see some pics and my thoughts on the new machine here)

I’ve just about got my server sorted, finally. It’s taken much longer than I expected but I think most things are stable now.

As you can see, goDHN has also had a bit of a makeover. I’ve changed the theme (needed more space), fixed the URL mappings, added more resources, and sorted the RSS feed out.

I’ve also been doing some work for a local charity. Sarah’s Dream (for people with cerebral palsy) is run by a friend of a friend. They needed web help and hosting, and I was happy to oblige. Find out more at SarahsDream.org.uk.

There are more project in the pipeline - which I shall of course post about as soon as I can.
